Job Description: Role Expectation:

  • Be a role model for entire sales and marketing team.
  • Plan, direct and monitor team to make branch profitable and ensure continuous growth and profitability.
  • Negotiate and Liaise with manufacturers to get best deals

Policy and Procedure:

  • Drafting, implementing and execution of policies in line with company’s business objective.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
  • Adhering to company Policies and Procedures like timely reporting, weekly planning, daily CRM reporting and field work etc.
  • Hiring and Team Building
  • In conjunction with HR department hire sale and marketing team.
  • Develop job description and ensure effective assimilation.

Training

  • Organizes training of sales and marketing team, especially marketing skills and conduct tests to determine efficacy of training.
  • Prepare training material and distribute among the team.
  • Develop a system to discern training weakness in team members and take steps to eradicate them.
  • Organize refresher training.
  • Arrange specific training related to induction of new devices.

Sale and Marketing:

Personal Sales Target:

  • 10 Lac & above monthly sales
  • Ensure that each SE/TL makes 5 lac & more monthly sales.
  • Sales Target are indicated quarterly.

Planning:

  • Monthly, quarterly and annual targets for the team and arrange budgeting to support achievement of targets
  • Adequate inventory in each location in conjunction with Inventory Manager
  • Planning and formulating marketing strategy in line with business goals.
  • a) For building more prescribers and retaining existing ones.
  • b) For selecting and building net work of dealers
  • c) Activities like training, conferences, workshops, camps and CMEs to build market value. High Level Sales and Marketing Support

  • Visit prescribers of the team periodically to make them effective to produce results.
  • Organize strategic tie ups with hospitals and dealers.
  • Contribute towards team sales through independent market relations.
  • Support team with tender work and documentation. Negotiate special price with the manufacturer.
  • Build relationship with Suppler to generate direct sales leads.
  • Acquire expertise to directly sell Health Care Equipment like Oxygen Concentrators, CPAP, BiPAP, Ventilators, Nebulizers, Pulse Oximeter etc. Demonstration and understanding of Products
  • Gain market information to improvise existing business strategies.
  • Manage and control product pricing and margins
  • Working jointly in the field with the Sales team and help improve their productivity.
  • Negotiate Pricing with Hospitals, Distributors and Customer.

High Level Sales Monitoring:

  • Very strict monitoring to ensure that weekly, monthly and yearly targets are fully met.
  • Effective monitoring that sales margins are met and procedures are rigidly followed.

Daily Activities

  • Motivating team while monitoring their activity on GPS based tracking system.
  • Detailed questioning of team to understand their daily activity and achievement.
  • Drive team to appoint more prescribers to generate business leads.
  • Understanding and handling day to day team challenges.
  • Checking, Discussing and improving weekly activity plan for the team.
  • Handling customer escalations.
  • Daily, Weekly and Monthly team activity and engagement plan.
  • Ensuring no sales on credit to patients. Negotiating credit terms with hospitals.

Coordination

  • Coordinating with warehouse for inventory planning, maintenance of warehouse and its accountability.
  • Coordinating with Accounts team for weekly outstanding collection.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: UG – B.Pharma – Pharmacy, B.Sc. – Any Specialization, B.Tech/B.E. – Any Specialization, Biomedical) AND (PG – Any PG Course – Any Specialization, Post-Graduation Not Required, M.Pharma – Pharmacy, MBA/PGDM – Any Specialization)

  • Candidate should have worked in Medical Equipment Sales, Pharma – Respiratory Medicines.
  • Candidate should be working in field.
  • Ability to work with doctors to get leads and maintain good relations.
  • Good Communication skills with fire in belly attitude.
  • Must be self-confident & good knowledge of existing market.

  • Willing to work 24X7 if required.
